The Director, Eng. Joackim Mutua, is a registered consulting engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya, and a fellow member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya.
He is also registered with the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation as a consulting engineer in water, Dams and Irrigation projects and offers engineering consultancy work in the following areas:
- Domestic Water and sanitation project design and construction supervision
- Irrigation and drainage project design and construction supervision
- Dam and water pans project design and construction supervision
- Topographical surveys
- Geotechnical surveys/studies
- Resettlement action plans
Eng. Joackim Mutua is an approved person by the directorate of occupational services (DOSHS) in the following categories:
- Safety and health audits
- Fire safety audits,
- Air Quality Monitoring and measurements, (including hygiene surveys)
- Noise level measurements
- Plant examinations (includes examinations of cranes, lifting equipment, pressures vessels, refrigeration plants as per the OSHA 2007)
- Environmental Impact Assessment studies
- Environmental audits
