The Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 2007 Section 11 (1) requires the occupier of a registered workplace to ensure a thorough safety and health audit of the workplace is carried out at least once in every period of twelve months by an approved safety and health advisor, who shall issue a report of such an audit containing the prescribed particulars to the occupier on payment of a prescribed fee and shall send a copy of the report to the Director.
Regular health and safety audits are widely recognised as best practice for companies of every type and size. Much more than just a box ticking exercise or defensive measure, they can bring many positive benefits to any business.
At Interglobal Engineers Limited, we have a team of approved and experienced safety and health auditors for all fields.
In carrying out the safety and health audits we employ the code of practice for safety and health auditing developed by the Directorate of Occupational Safety and Health Services (DOSHS), international standards and best practice.
