In every workplace where hazardous substances are used the employer is required, under Rule number 16 (1) of the factories and other places of work (hazardous substances) rules, 2007, & EMCA 1999, Legal Notice No. 34, ‘The Environmental Management and Co-ordination (Air Quality) Regulations’, to ensure that measurements of the substances in the air are carried out at least once every twelve months by a certified air quality monitor, in order to determine the prevailing occupational exposure levels.
At Interglobal Engineers Limited, we have approved and experienced air quality monitors, and all the necessary equipment needed for air quality measurements.
